LIFE - Life Is For Ever

Hi there. Over the past weeks, I have to admit I've had a bit of writer's block. Normally ideas and inspiration come flooding on a daily basis, but for some reason they have been hiding in the background recently.

Last week I attended my husband's grandmother's funeral. She was 93 when she past away and left behind 6 children (in addition to 4 step children), 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren . At the service each of her children shared memories of her as a mother and person in general. It was really touching to hear their stories. At times laughter, other times tears. They spoke about her kindness, how she always had time to listen and how she tried to help others, inspiring them with her faith. As I listened, I couldn't think of a better way in which a parent would be remembered. People who had known her for a lifetime, or for a few years all said similar things about her; what an inspiration she was.

Their stories made me think about how I would like to be remembered when it is time to go to the other side. What would you want people to say about you? What would you like their fondest memories of you to be? When they look back on your life and smile, what do you want to come to their minds? What do you want them to feel proud of about you?

They say we're only here for a brief period, before we go on into eternity.

I want my time here to be the best possible. And I want yours to be too.

Love life and live it today!
